National Gypsum is one of the largest gypsum board producers in the world. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the company is a full-line supplier, recognized in the industry for customer service and product quality. New NGC, Inc., was formed in 1993 to focus on the core business of producing, marketing, and selling gypsum wallboard and interior finishing products. Part of the purchase was the name National Gypsum Company. The company became privately held in 1995.
